This healing journey is something I didn’t even know I needed when I started to work at rich sol and each day I was faced with MYSELF and my inner traumas and bad behaviors.

Over the past 6 months my hair has been such a big part of this journey from coming in blonde and having straight hair, then dying it black and having braids or cornrows. Then chopping it off to get to my afro and now shaving all my hair off and starting fresh. My hair has always been a huge part of my identity and an emotional struggle at the same time.

It’s time for me to start to love my texture and curls and how big and thick it is. Take pride in who I am and what I look like.

I want to be the absolute best version of myself and respect my body and hair. Change how I think and feel about them.
