// Back again with Jo for another install! She felt saaad when she took her braid-ins out and decided to go a little more permanent this time. We added two rows of real, crochet locs with human hair extensions and braided in the rest. Just to dip her toes in 💞
I know going to get your hair done is such a deep expression of self care, but a lot of the time it’s therapy for me too. Love this woman, love our chats. Such a cool bond! TIL next time! ✌🏼

// Veeeeggaaaaaa 🤟🏼back again for his biannual maintenance. Did a quick tidy before he hit the road again. Always a pleasure homie!

// Evan’s back today as we continue to work on restoring his locks. I did a quick tighten of his roots, filled in some thinning spots with human hair (you can’t even see where, I’m that good) and made some progress on thickening up his ends, again with human 4C hair to get that seamless, natural look. Gettin’ fresher by the day!!

// Miranda came to me after having a… sub par installation else where, leaving her sections WAY too big causing discomfort when tying them up. And, overall just not the look she was going for. Together we spent a couple weeks brushing out what had been done, and re-sectioned the entire crown (and some) of her head.
So 👏🏻 much 👏🏻 better!! 👏🏻

// Biiiig crochet day with Mel! She wasn’t happy with how long her loose ends were, so we loc’d up her hair further down on her existing partials. She also wanted to transition to a full head so we crocheted the rest of her loose hair 🖤 happy to be a part of her journey!

// “As soon as you finished the first loc, I knew I had found home.” 🥹 Holaaayyy that’s probably the best compliment I’ve had in my career. Welcoming Evan today for his first maintenance in half a year!! Like many others before him, he had a hard time finding someone to properly care for his crown here in Vancouver. But as he said, “This is now the start of a great friendship.” My heart was so full seeing the smile on his face! Thanks for the trust friend!
