I believe in the main design principle of colours, and apply the knowledge in to my hair works.

And that is elements of colours.

I find in order to have the most balance of the utmost beautiful we should not exceed more than 3 elements in colour. Especially in hair.

by 3 elements I meant by if a hair colour work has 3 tones or less it should have still be safe of balance.

I often work with hair that consist of 2 elements, rarely I work with hair colours that consist of 3 elements.

and why is this considered as a "design"?

in order to create balance between the 3 hair colours, we need to decide on the shade, the placements, and then how much will the shade of hair colours show on the result.

it is certainly a difficult task but that is what makes hair colour designs fun and inetresting!

I am glad I have clients who are willing to test the boundaries of hair colours and experience this wonderful journey with me.

My Top 3 Product recommendations.

Previously I made a post on how to make the hair more shiny.
it has everything to relate with pH Level.
Quite a few has asked me about what products are consider acidic ?
Basically anything that has a pH Level of 6 or lower is considered acidic.

1. Fanola no-yellow shampoo Vegan- low pH Level, sulfate, paraben, silicon free, it neutralizes yellow tones in the hair like a champ!

1. make sure to focus on shampooing your scalp and less the hair, as water could rinse away pigments along side with the shampoo.
2. make sure to use product that acts as a sunscreen for your hair to protect it from the UV Ray from the sun.
3. make sure to lower your stylist tool temperature to as lowest as possible, my recommendation is under 300f or 150c. Of course if you can go lower its even better.

1 I don't want to bleach my hair, but can you do this color?
Easiest way to describe this is, there is Soda in the cup, but you want Coffee in the same cup without take out the Soda

A lot of times we need to remove what is inside the hair, in order to make new color.

But if you want milk tea, and there is already tea in the cup, we just need to add milk.

There is also instances where the color you desire just need a bit of toning to achieve the result, this is when bleach wont be neccesary.

2 How often should I come for a touch-up?

A lot of people might hear many different scenarios where you need to touch-up every 4-6 weeks.

This really depends on every different stylist, I personally find working with 2-3 month touch ups is the most comfortable for me. (Toning in between is fine as well)

3 How much do you charge?

It really depends on your current hair condition.
and there are many factors that contributes to the cost of services. Few main ones are
- Hair history
- Total Service Time needed
- Products required for the service

I highly recommend to have a consultation with me or your preferred stylist first to get the most accurate pricing for the service.
