Substantial evidence suggests that being thankful for what you have and taking time to help and give to others have incredible long-term benefits for our overall happiness and well-being.

Whoa!! Have your heard of the Gene Keys? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We first heard about it a few years ago and kinda dismissed it... "Phhh... sure, some guy re-wrote the I-Ching... 🙄" ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Oops.... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After hearing Richard Rudd speak for just a few minutes, the sense of knowingness was palpable and it has been a really deep and rewarding journey over the past couple of months. He's interfaced it with your time of birth so you can get personal insight into your dharma.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Beautifully written and soul-inspiring, this tome really does feel like an important work that speaks to our collective evolution of consciousness. Each of the 64 Gene Keys unlocks and activates an archetypal energy/state of consciousness, and as a whole, the book represents the totality of the human (and future-human 🧙🏾♂️ 🧙🏾♀️) experience. 10/10⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Lomi Lomi is an Indigenous form of Hawaiian healing that is traditionally passed through generations and has evolved over centuries. Each treatment embodies the word Aloha using movements inspired by the Island’s landscape. It is a loving practice that honours and brings balance to a person’s physical, spiritual and emotional nature which creates a truly unique session for each individual.
Here at HÄLSA, we are proud to offer this experience to you with our bodyworker Natalka, who has been formally trained in this practice in Makawao, Hawaii by Kumu Jeana Naluai.

Ahhh... Celestite! Such a soft and soothing stone that also has a super-quality embedded in its name - its a Celestial activator. These sky-blue geodes are composed of strontium sulphate and are associated with divine connection and mindful presence. Such a beautiful stone and one of our all-time favourites! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

One important element we have always felt was missing at HÄLSA is healthy food to enjoy in between or after treatments. This is why we are so happy to be able to offer these divine little treats that are packed with flavor and are nutrient dense, by our lovely Candise Pearce (Raw food chef and Thai Yoga Massage practitioner).
Featured in this photograph are homemade raw chocolates and energy bites made with quality raw organic ingredients.
Thank you for the AMAZING !

Autumn Wellness Tips

1. Spice up your life and your meals with warming spices such as ginger and cardamom. These help keep your immune system strong and provide warming energy to bring your body into balance.
2. Sweat it out in the sauna. A far infrared sauna is a great way not only to de-stress, but boost the immune system by killing pathogens and detox an overwhelmed system.
3. When stressed, rest! A full night's sleep is of the utmost importance. Here at Hälsa we truly value rest as a pillar of health.
4. Take some time to nurture your inner being by spending time in nature, meditating, or exploring your inner world, allowing your mind and body to unwind and release tension in a float tank.
5. Mushrooms for a boost. Utilize the power of nature by incorporating medicinal mushrooms such as Reishi and Chaga into your morning coffee or elixir. These superfoods can give your immune system an edge for fighting illness.
6. Get physical! Even though winter is upon us, it's still vital to keep your body moving and your blood flowing. While we may not be spending as much time outside, be sure to keep your muscles active through activities such as yoga, chilly hikes, or deep cleaning your home. It's also a great time to clear out your closet and donate previously loved items to a worthy cause as well!
7. Connection is more important than ever, and human interaction is so vital to our happiness. Find time to safely connect with those you love. Reach out to a friend for a nature walk, or family members if you can. Take time out for touch as well. We have lovely body workers here at Hälsa who can support you in your process and provide a nurturing hand for bodies in need.

Here at HÄLSA we really appreciate how healing it is to reconnect and deepen our relationship with Mother Earth, by learning her knowledge, observing her movements and praying with the her in the eternal prayer of creation in this very moment. With that being said, we are honoured to carry this beautifully written book in our little shop. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

"As a botanist, Robin Wall Kimmerer has been trained to ask questions of nature with the tools of science. As a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, she embraces the notion that plants and animals are our oldest teachers. in Braiding Sweetgrass, Kimmerer brings these lenses of knowledge together to show that awakening of a wider ecological consciousness requires the acknowledgment and celebration of our reciprocal relationship with the rest of the living world."
