Over the next little while, I'm going to start sharing some of the simple things I've learned after helping thousands of women through perimenopause, menopause and postmenopause.
And because many of them are things I do myself.
One of those is goji berry tea.
I drink it regularly, and it's one of my favourite nourishing teas during perimenopause.
Here's why...
From a nutrition perspective, goji berries are naturally rich in antioxidants, vitamin C, carotenoids, and other plant compounds that help protect our cells from oxidative stress—which becomes even more important as estrogen begins to decline.
They also contain nutrients that support healthy aging, eye health, immune function, and healthy blood sugar balance.
But what I love even more is looking at them through the lens of Ayurveda.
Their naturally sweet taste is thought to help build ojas—our reserve of vitality, resilience, and life force.
And honestly... isn't that exactly what so many women tell me they're missing?
"I just don't feel like myself anymore."
"I have no energy."
"I'm exhausted all the time."
Perimenopause isn't just about changing hormones.
It's about learning to nourish yourself differently.
Sometimes that starts with something as simple as making yourself a cup of tea.
I steep a handful of organic goji berries in hot water for about 10–15 minutes, sip the tea, and then eat the berries afterwards.
Simple.
Nourishing.
And one small ritual that reminds me to slow down and take care of myself.
If you're navigating perimenopause, I'd love to have you here. 💛
Over the next few weeks, I'm going to be sharing more of the simple things I personally do—and the little pearls I've learned after nearly 20 years of helping women through this transition.
Follow along and share this post with a woman who needs it.

You can't think your way back to yourself.
You have to listen your way back.
When you're having a hard day, or a hard few days, and all the tools you usually rely on aren't bringing you back...
The meditation. The journaling. The walks.
There's always music.
Music has a way of bypassing the mind entirely.
It doesn't ask you to think, analyze, or fix anything.
It goes straight to the heart.
And that's where the joy lives.
As a physician, I could tell you what music does to your nervous system. How it shifts your brainwaves, softens cortisol, and brings your body out of fight or flight.
But honestly? You already know. You've felt it.
That song that comes on and suddenly you're dancing in your kitchen. Crying in your car. Breathing again. Smiling again.
On a personal note, I've been learning the sitar. If you haven't seen one before, think of it as the Indian guitar, with a sound that seems to reach somewhere words can't.
In this first video, my teacher shares what a raag is, the melodic foundation of Indian classical music, and how the sitar brings it to life.
Sometimes we just need a little joy to remember who we are.
So if you're struggling with something...
Questioning yourself and everything around you...
Stop trying to think your way out.
Listen your way back.

The old model of women's healthcare is dying. And honestly? I think it's a very good thing...
Let me explain why..
After 17 years in practice, I can see the shift happening in real time.
Women aren't asking for more prescriptions and 7-minute appointments. They're asking for something entirely different.
My predictions for the rest of 2026:
1. Healing experiences over healthcare transactions. Retreats, ritual, food as medicine. The more AI takes over our lives, the more women crave what can't be automated.
2. Midlife finally takes centre stage. Perimenopause and menopause are moving from whispered afterthought to the main conversation. The 40 to 60 demographic is done being told "it's just aging."
3. Online programs keep booming. Because women are done waiting months for a referral to be taken seriously. Expert guidance, on her schedule, from her own home.
The women leading this shift aren't waiting for the system to catch up.
They're building something better.
Which prediction do you see happening already?
Follow me for more on what conventional medicine won't tell you about midlife, hormones, and healing.
And share this with a woman who needs to hear it. She's probably the one holding everyone else together.

The 4 stages of midlife hormones, and most women are stuck in stage 2 without realizing it.
Stage 1: the 'you're fine' zone. You know something's off, but your labs are 'normal' and everyone says you're fine... 😐
Stage 2: the fix-it frenzy. You're taking 14 supplements, doing cold plunges, following three protocols at once, and feeling worse. More effort, less results.
Stage 3: the decode. You stop guessing and learn YOUR pattern, and you start to understand , finally.
Stage 4: the vibrant stage. You heard it was possible...and you're a believer because you're experiencing it.
Where are you? Drop your stage below. No shame, I've watched thousands of women climb out of stage 1 and 2!
A thank you post today and a little reminder of the women I love to support.
In the video I talk about some of the issues I can help with, but here's a more comprehensive list.
I was just looking back at my notes for all the reasons women decided to work with me over the last few months and here it is:
• Waking at 3am and staring at the ceiling, no matter how tired they were
• Hot flashes and night sweats that made them dread meetings and bedsheets alike
• Weight settling around the middle that no amount of "eating less and moving more" would touch
• Brain fog and forgetfulness
• Periods that suddenly became heavy, unpredictable, or vanished altogether
• PMS or PMDD that hijacked two weeks of every month
• PCOS, fibroids, or endometriosis they were told to just live with
• Anxiety that showed up out of nowhere in their 40s
• Mood swings and irritability that didn't feel like them
• Exhaustion that sleep didn't fix
• Blood sugar swings, sugar cravings, and energy crashes by 3pm
• Cholesterol creeping up despite doing "everything right"
• Fatty liver they didn't see coming
• High blood pressure, heart palpitations, or emotional heartache
• Bloating, reflux, and digestion that changed the rules on foods they'd eaten their whole lives
• Food sensitivities and histamine reactions that kept multiplying
• Autoimmune conditions where they wanted root-cause support, not just symptom management
• Migraines and headaches tied to their cycle
• Joint pain and stiffness that arrived with midlife
• Hair thinning, skin changing
• Thyroid symptoms with "normal" labs
• Cortisol running the show: wired at night, dragging all day
• A nervous system stuck in fight or flight after years of chronic stress
• Bone health and body composition concerns as estrogen declined
• Wanting to understand the emotional story underneath their physical symptoms
I know that's a lot! I thought that too when I was putting this post together!

If any slide in this carousel sounded like your own thoughts, you are not alone.
The good news...
When you have a plan customized for your unique constitution and imbalances, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Not another generic protocol. A map built for you (and no one else).
That's the key 🗝️
Type "Vibrant" below if you'd like to be the first to know when my next cohort opens.
I'm here to help midlife women connect the dots ❤️
I'm in a library, so I have to whisper. But honestly, I'm realizing it fits this topic...
Because the most painful midlife symptoms are the ones women never say out loud.
Everyone talks about the physical stuff. The hot flashes, the weight changes, the sleep.
But after 20+ years working with women, I can tell you the emotional symptoms are the ones that catch women completely off guard and are the most painful.
I'm doing a whole series on the emotional side of midlife...the stuff no one talks about but most women sooner or later wonder about...
Follow along so you don't miss it and be sure to share this with a woman who needs it.
It might just make her feel better.
✨ This is your sign to start the thing. ✨
For me, it's the sitar.
I've loved Indian music, dance, medicine, art, architecture and culture for as long as I can remember.
There is something about it that has always touched my heart.
The last time I picked up a sitar was about two years ago.
And recently, I decided it was time to begin again.
The truth? I'm a beginner.
There are missed notes, awkward moments, and plenty of opportunities to laugh at myself. 😄
But there is also something incredibly beautiful about learning something simply because you love it.
Just because it brings you joy.
As adults, we often forget that we're allowed to be beginners.
We think we need to have it all figured out before we start. But every person who became skilled at something began exactly where they were-one imperfect step at a time.
So here's my question for you:
What's the thing you've been wanting to do?
Maybe this is your sign.
Come along on my sitar journey and let's learn something new together.
🎶💛
I'd love to hear it-what is the thing your heart keeps nudging you to start?

I have been sitting on this news for six months and I cannot hold it in any longer...
Today is the Day!
Friday is always a good day.
For several years, I led retreats all over the world.
Then the world stopped.
But the moment travel opened back up, the messages started coming in: when are you taking us to India again?
Soon, I said.
Soon is here - and if this is already speaking to you, keep reading 👇
Behind every woman who shows up fully for her life is a woman who knew when to step away and refill.
And sometimes, that means crossing an ocean.
In a "I'm going to fly to India, and steep myself in a healing tradition 5,000 years in the making kind of way..." ✨
We're going back - and this time, we're heading to the #1 resort in India (Condé Nast, 2025).
This is for the woman who does it all and does it beautifully - but feels that pull to stop, go inward, and come back to herself.
She loves to travel, thrives on learning, and says yes to adventure.
And she knows that to keep showing up at her best, she has to refuel at the deepest level.
That is exactly what this week is designed to do.
A full week of:
-Ayurvedic treatments tailored to your dosha
-Customized meals that actually heal (specific to your imbalance)
-Pneuma breathwork + yoga practices
-Teachings from local Ayurvedic Doctors
-Women's health deep dives with me
-Ayurvedic beauty rituals
-Five-star accommodations
-Airport transfers included (air conditioned vehicle)
-Exploring the local culture of incredible Kerala
-Pre-retreat goal setting call with me
-Post-retreat integration to ensure you incorporate what you learn into your daily life
