Had the honour of working on yet again, another indigenous film set.
These are always some of the BEST sets I have worked on. The people, the stories, bringing Métis and other indigenous stories to life and sharing with the world is truly so fulfilling.

Everyone was so down to earth and welcoming of one another. It was amazing having some of our elders on set and playing some roles. Listening to them speak Michif and their story times and lessons was just so amazing.

Could not have picked a better cast to play each of these roles. Such troopers for toughing it out in those layers during this heat!

I can not wait to see the finished product!!

First picture you see me helping organize a few products because I did not one, but two on screen segments talking about some makeup products with host Tamara Bell!
I LOVE working on any tv and film set but I prefer to be BEHIND the camera! It was fine once we started rolling but the anxiety building up to it is no fun! 😂🤦🏽‍♀️. I had done an on screen segment a little over 2 years ago with First Talk, which is when I first met Tamara. I was still newly in school for makeup then so I was nervous as all heck 😂. She wanted me to apply lashes on one of the three models. Which then, still took me a little bit to put on a client perfectly when practicing in school. I will always remember how fast perfectly I applied those lashes on the lovely Kerr when we were rolling. Did not have to do any retakes or anything. I even impressed myself then 😂😂.
Missing this group of lovely individuals!

I had such a nice time last night at the music video premier for .music’s new song Mahina! So many beautiful people and awesome talent. It was such a pleasure to be apart of this!

Swipe to see the ponytail of hair I cut off! 😂 The amount of hair I cut off was longer than the hair left on my head lol. I absolutely loved my long hair but this is something I’ve been wanting to do for SO long and I finally did it! I’m so glad I did 🥰

This was hands down the most fun and awesome experience working with First Talk yet! Last season was amazing but this seasons crew and talent was just awesome.
Every day had laughs and good times. Even when things got stressful!
I had a great time meeting and connecting with all of the new people who came on this season.

I love being on set! When you do what you love, it truly hardy ever feels like “work”. This is the reason to went to makeup school, so that I can work any level of TV & Film sets. Plus it’s such an awesome bonus when it takes you to places such beautiful views 😍😍
