Hi there! Wow it’s been awhile since we posted anything on here! I hope everyone is doing well during these challenging times.

So here is our Covid update!

The Sugar Lounge is doing a very soft re-open for current clients. Unfortunately, I won’t be taking any new clientel for a little while still. I am trying to think about how we can continue to keep everyone safe, and that means keeping a low profile. I am following the news daily, and am monitoring phase 3 reopening. If numbers continue to be stable, then I’ll look at adding new clientel in around 4 weeks.

For current clientel, this is for you:

I will be taking a very limited number of clients per day.

I will also be wearing a face shield for your protection. We’ll be using the usual disinfectant around the new office (yes the new office!) and cleaning between clients.

Clients must wear a mask for their appointment. This is not negotiable and for everyone’s safety. If you don’t have a mask, I can provide a disposable one for you for $3. Unfortunately this means a few services won’t be available like upper lip. I’ll look at reassessing this in the future.

I will still be taking cash payment if that is your preferred method, but won’t have change. Cash will go directly into a container where it will sit to decontaminate for a few days.

I will have my square and can still do credit card payments, and of course can still do e-transfers to the company.

The new office is set up! Yay! I know it’s been awhile and I’m very excited to show you the new space.

The Sugar Lounge has a new look! We've installed some new shelves and put up some new paintings and are ready to book you before your holiday vacation!

Speaking of, we'll be closing December 19th until January 4th.

Ah the cool crisper air of fall! Remember to protect your skin and keep wearing your sunscreen and moisturiser even though it's not as sunny out there.
