Last year as I watched my mother lose her battle with cancer, a part of me felt pangs of anxiety that I would eventually forget her face and the sound of her voice. It was my way of grieving the loss of her essence…the person that I had known my entire life.

Thankfully, I had the opportunity to capture some portraits of her before her illness. And those timeless images now serve as unforgettable reminders of the person that she really was. My memory of her was no longer defined by her illness.

I want to give you the opportunity to cherish those unforgettable reminders too:) So in honour of my mom and to celebrate the studio’s 20 years in business, I am excited to offer Mother’s Day Mini Portrait Sessions at our Yaletown studio on Saturday April 24th.
