My client came in with old microblading that had high tails and leftover blue/red pigment. We did a combo nano brow correction to reshape and soften the old work while creating a more balanced, natural look ✨

What do you guys think of this cover-up transformation? She absolutely loved the results 🫶

My client did not want laser removal at all. She wanted brows ASAP and asked me to cover up her old work, but I explained that doing only bold micro strokes over dark, old pigment would heal very blotchy and you likely wouldn’t even see the strokes properly.

So instead, I recommended we lighten the old tattoo first and do everything on the same day with a combo brow ✨ Hair strokes in the front for softness and shading in the back for coverage and longevity.

At first she wanted all strokes, but I had to be honest with her about what would heal best for her skin and previous tattoo work. Sometimes the best results come from choosing what’s realistic, not just what’s trending 👏

The pigment underneath will continue to soften and fade over the next 4 weeks, and I honestly cannot wait to see the healed results 😍

My client came to me over a month ago for a consultation, and at first I honestly told her, “I can’t do your brows yet… you need laser removal first.” Her old work was extremely saturated, uneven, and very blue in certain areas.

But she absolutely did not want to laser them off completely. She told me she didn’t have the time or confidence to walk around with barely any brows during the removal process. She just wanted them fixed. 🥺

At first she asked for hair strokes, but I explained that with how saturated the old tattoo was — especially toward the tails — the strokes wouldn’t really show through properly. If I tattooed over them, the new color would also have to work with the existing pigment underneath, otherwise the brows could heal looking muddy or unnatural.

So we came up with a plan together 🤝

I suggested doing ONE laser session the same day as her appointment using lower settings to help soften and tone down the old pigment first. That way I could create a much softer, more natural result and add hair strokes only where I knew they would actually show beautifully.

And honestly… I’m so happy we did it this way because LOOK at the results 😭✨ She was absolutely in love with her new brows.
