Botox: It is a neurotoxin which blocks the action of nerves on muscles. It is used to target muscles that form wrinkles. It relaxes the muscles that results in softening the wrinkles.
Dermal Fillers: They stimulate the production of natural collagen that fills the space in different layers of skin to correct wrinkles and add desired volume to lips, cheeks and chin.
There are different types of dermal fillers, the most common and popular is hyaluronic acid.
When you are choosing between Botox and dermal fillers, the most important point to consider is that what type of wrinkles you want to treat and how. Botox is better option to treat dynamic wrinkles, which occurs when your face is in motion or making expressions and they usually formed around the eye’s corners (crow’s feet), between the eye brows and on forehead.
