When I got into this industry I had no idea what I was doing. I picked up my craft as a hobby - just something new and different for me to try. Once I mastered the basics of braiding, I grew to love it and needed to try new styles. Every day is an opportunity for me to learn something new and practice my creativity. I feel like this is what it means when they say “if you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life”.
We live in a selfish world where everything is seen as a competition. My only competition is me. I strive to do better than yesterday and be even better tomorrow. There’s enough room in this world for everyone to be successful!
