3 exercises your posture will thank you for 👇
Sitting at a desk, looking down at your phone, or spending hours behind the wheel can leave your shoulders rounded and your head creeping forward.
Try these 3 simple exercises:
3️⃣ Band + Neck Retraction
Gently pull your chin straight back while keeping your head level. This helps strengthen the muscles that support better head and neck positioning.
2️⃣ Band Pull-Aparts
Keep your arms straight and pull the band apart by squeezing your shoulder blades together. Great for activating the upper-back muscles that help support an upright posture.
1️⃣ Wall Angels
Stand with your back against a wall and slowly move your arms up and down while keeping them as close to the wall as comfortably possible. This works on shoulder mobility and upper-back control.
Save this for your next posture reset. 📌

Golf season isn’t over yet, but your back might be telling you it is. ⛳
Most of a swing comes from your hips and mid-back rotating. When those are stiff, your lower back and shoulders pick up the slack, and that’s usually where the soreness shows up after 18 holes.
We look at how you rotate before we treat anything.

Your costochondritis might not need MORE stretching. 👀
If you keep stretching your chest but the pain around your sternum keeps coming back, try looking at something most people overlook:
🫁 How you breathe.
Your rib cage moves every time you inhale and exhale. So instead of constantly pulling on the chest from the outside, this exercise uses controlled breathing to work on rib cage expansion.
Watch the video and try it with me.
Then save it for later because consistency matters.
👇 Comment “BREATHING” if you want more exercises for rib and chest mobility.
Static stretching is boring, and honestly, most of us skip it anyway.
So here’s the trade: instead of holding a stretch and hoping, you load the movement and work through a full range. You’re building mobility and strength in the same rep — which tends to actually stick.
Save this one for your next session 👇
1️⃣ Copenhagen Side Plank Hip Dips — let the hip drop, then pull it back to the top with your top leg
2️⃣ Long Range Bicep Curl — chest facing forward, keep the elbow pulled back as you curl
3️⃣ Kickstand Deadlift — knee stays put, all your weight in the front leg as the hips travel back
4️⃣ Single Arm Lat Pulldown — let your spine bend to the side as you reach up and pull down
Go light, move slow, and feel the stretch through the whole range — not just the burn at the end.
New to these or working around an old injury? Ease in and check with a pro first.

Your hamstring keeps “grabbing” because your rehab is too easy.
Nobody tells you this: if your rehab feels comfortable but your sport doesn’t, you’re going to keep getting hurt. The muscle has to be trained at the intensity you actually demand from it — otherwise you’re just rehearsing weakness.
3 exercises I use to bulletproof a stubborn hamstring 👇
1️⃣ Prone hamstring curl — the easy entry point
2️⃣ Hip-flexed hamstring curl — where it gets real
3️⃣ Prone maximal isometric — the one that actually builds resilience
Easy rehab → easy reinjury. Hard rehab → you get your explosiveness back and stop babying it.
📌 Save this for your next flare-up. Send it to the friend who’s been “resting” their hamstring for 6 months.
Follow for the stuff your last practitioner never explained. 💪
Can’t sit back on your heels without your knees screaming? Let’s work on that. 🦵
Deep knee flexion — kneeling, deep squats, sitting on your heels — is a range a lot of us have just... lost. Desk life, old injuries, never training the bottom end. Here’s a 3-part routine designed to help you get some of it back.
1️⃣ Popliteus ball release (1–2 min/side)
Ball behind the knee, hunt for the tender spot, then kick the leg straight and bend it back. You’re “flossing” the tissue — pressure + movement, not just sitting on it.
2️⃣ Full kneel with towel gapping (1–2 min/side)
Roll a towel tight, tuck it into the back of the knee, then sit back onto your heel. The towel creates space in the joint so there’s less compression as you fold. Rock gently side to side.
3️⃣ Assisted single-leg squat (6–8 reps/side)
Foot on a low box, hold something sturdy, drop into deep flexion with control. Use the hands as much as you need at first — the goal is building strength and confidence at the bottom, then slowly letting go of the support.
Start gentle. This should feel like work, never sharp pain.

Ever wonder what a chiropractic session looks like at Pure Alignment? Here we have a landscaper making sure he’s able to perform and prevent injury during his busy work season!
Have you had a session like this before?
Preventative care is the best care. Whether you’re landscaping, getting ready to go back to work, or just enjoying your summer, your body builds up stresses that can impact the way it functions. Chiropractic care can help!
You might not have a bad back. You might just have one that never got fully rehabbed. 🧠
Physiotherapist Dustin ran through everything he’d tell you about pain and recovery — in 60 seconds flat. A few that tend to catch people off guard:
→ Posture matters way less than being able to move well
→ Passive treatments can calm pain down; movement is what tends to keep it away
→ Braces support you — they don’t fix the underlying issue
→ Maintenance is almost always cheaper than repair
None of this is medical advice — just a solid reframe on how recovery actually works. And a good physio, chiro, or massage therapist can genuinely be your body’s best friend.
