About the owner, Mariella Colucci:
Mariella is a natural born hairdresser. At the age of thirteen, she took hair dressing home care classes at a local salon. By the age of fifteen, Mariella fell in love with the art of hair and kept working at the salon. In 1986, she graduated from Marvel Hair dressing School and started her career at the Woodbine Center for twelve years. During that time she also went to George Brown College where she graduated with a trade teacher's certificate. After working so many years for someone else, Mariella finally decided to take a chance and open up her own hair salon named Rendez Vous. She owned and operated Rendez Vous for 4 years, before deciding to sell the business. She didn't stop there as her passion for hair dressing couldn't be ignored. Mariella was driven to continue working and soon opened another salon named Salon Halo. Salon Halo has been in business for ten years and has most recently relocated into a much larger space.

Salon Halo has officially moved to a new location! You can now find us at **3883 Hwy 7**, in the building behind our old one, facing Hwy 7.
This move has been in the works for a long time, and today, I closed the door on a great chapter of my life—one that I deeply cherished. While it’s bittersweet, I’m grateful to say that my clients have been incredibly supportive, and my amazing staff will be joining me in this new space.
For me, this is not just a new location—it’s a new chapter with my **Halo family**, and I couldn’t be more blessed to have all the wonderful people who have become like family to me.

**Exciting Opportunity – Salon Halo is for Sale!**
After 25 incredible years, I’ve decided to sell **Salon Halo**—a space that has been more than just a business; it’s been a home filled with love, growth, and deep connections.
I’m looking for the right person to take over and continue its success. There’s **so much potential for growth** for someone who can dedicate time and energy to its future.
That said, **this isn’t goodbye!** I have a **strong bond with my clients**—we are family—and I will **continue doing hair** by renting a chair a few days a week. Alongside that, I’m also a **certified mindfulness practitioner** and plan to be more active in that field.
