I have always loved doing hair and all things of beauty. The journey into professional hairstyling began during my final year of high school in Squamish. With gaining valuable work experience at my favourite local salon, I was invited to stay on as an apprentice/receptionist for 2 years. To gain more knowledge and really dive deep into my passion, I attended Blanche Macdonald in Vancouver. After completing the year long pro hair program, I continued to work at my first salon for another year. Then I decided it was time to gain more experience and focus on my specialty at a second salon. This gave me valuable experience with a focus on specialty, creative and lived in colours and cuts for 3 years.
Vernon has always been a second home to me growing up and spending time with my extended family.
I am so excited to start on my new journey here in Vernon with Bloom.

At Spruce Salon Vernon, we are excited to announce the next chapter in our business as we say goodbye to our past, and hello to our new name: Bloom Salon.

Since our inception in 2015, our business and team have grown, evolved,
and evidently become something different than what we originally were.

While our foundations surrounding exceptional talent and customer service remain the same, our focus on stylist growth, development, and team-based practices have become a forward focus of our day to day practices, and long term goals.

Our team-based approach and our apprenticeship program have created a system where we can better serve the needs of our guests, while simultaneously fostering an environment of growth and opportunity for our stylists, in all stages of their careers.

Bloom Salon is a place for all our guests to bloom into their authentic beauty.

Bloom is focused on our team's ability to embrace the supportive nature of our space, while blooming into talented stylists who represent the top quality service you have come to know and love.

We are excited to continue our journey with you, and can’t wait to see you at your next appointment.

Meet Carlie

We are super excited to have Carlie as a part of our Spruce Vernon team.
Carlie recently completed her schooling and has been working hard at refining her skills within our Salon.
