How are you? I hope everyone is doing well and healthy.

I had never imagined in million years that this whole pandemic crisis was going to hit us so hard the way it did. I think all our lives are completely different in one way or another since the last time we saw each other.

I shut down my shop back in March, and since then I have done a lot of thinking, especially what was going to be my next step in order to overcome this unexpected financal challenge I had to tackle all of a sudden. Then, I realized how far I have come with my passion for hair, and how impossible it could have been for me to be where I am today without all your supports.

I wanted to take time to make this video to share my deepest gratitude for helping me to make my dream come true: my dream of having my own hair studio and independency, opportunities to learn so much from you and all the wonderful chats and exchanges we had. When I think about that, my heart gets overwhelmed with so much love I have for all of you, and it starts playing crazy beats like John Bonham on "Whole Lotta Love". Listen to that drum solo, that's exactly how I feel when I think about you!

I don't want to get to this but I have to let you know that I decided to close I'z Hair Studio for good. I couldn't ignore my inner voice which kept whispering to me "now is the time to try something new". Every now and then, I've heard my inner voice and when I ignored it, that's when s**t hit the fan big time (excuse my Japanese French). During the lockdown, I embraced my musical interests and also love for media and cinematography. I'm learning so much about how to shoot livestreams, all the amazing musical theories and cool guitar tricks from my partner and mentor, Tal and his dad, Randy everyday. So if you were worried about me, I wanted you to know that I'm doing OK 🙂

Those who are worried about who to go see for the hair service, I have a wonderful hairstylist friend, Bobbie Normand who agreed to take care of you. She's been doing hair for 20 years and what I like about her is that she truly cares about the quality of service. She is very versatile and also very good with curly hair. If you wish to see her or would like more details, please let me know by email.
