Almost every woman I see for Botox says the same thing:
“I don’t know why I waited so long.” There’s this idea that you have to wait until wrinkles are deep before doing anything—but prevention is so so much easier than correction.
If you’re curious about how Botox can keep your skin smooth and natural-looking, let’s chat! No pressure, just answers tailored to your skin, budget and goals ✨

Have you been to the clinic? We are located in quaint Matticks Farm off the Lochside Trail (beside the liquor store). Plenty of parking, shops and services. Couple of appointments left next Wednesday. Get in before the craziness of back to school 📚
How beautiful is the sign that made for us 🥰
*We are also currently looking for a full time MOA. Reach out if you want details!

Happy Canada Day!!! 🇨🇦🏔️
👨👩👧👧 My little fam is spending the holiday doing our favourite thing, cruising on the ocean 🌊
I hope that whatever you’re doing you enjoy some R&R with friends and fam 🍉☀️
Will be back in the clinic next week.
☀️Summer appointments are filling up and my sunscreen supply is dwindling. Shoot me a message if you want me to put one aside for you….

How to prevent bruising 🤕
💉Anytime your skin is being punctured there is a risk of bruising. Your face is no different.
💙🩵But there are ways to minimize bruising.
💊Avoid blood thinning medication. One week prior, avoid aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil, Aleve or Motrin), Vitamin E and fish oil or omega-3s.
✋🏼If you are on an anticoagulant prescribed by your physician you will need to discuss this with them
🍷🍸Avoid alcohol for 24 hours pre treatment as this will also increase your risk of bruising.
If you do get a bruise, it should be gone in a few days to a week!
✨Save this post to re-read before your next appointment✨

The Power of the "Fake It Till You Make It" Approach: The famous saying "fake it till you make it" might have more scientific validity than we previously thought.
Research suggests that facial expressions can influence our emotions, and Botox seems to play a part in this process. By temporarily paralyzing specific facial muscles, Botox may alter the signals sent to the brain, thereby modifying our emotional experiences. This intriguing phenomenon is known as the facial feedback effect.
So when we soften the muscles that are at play when we frown, our brain doesn’t receive the same input and you don’t feel the same effects. Pretty cool!
The idea of Botox as a mental health aid may seem unconventional, but the growing body of research suggests otherwise. Studies have highlighted its potential in alleviating symptoms of depression, and anxiety. While the exact mechanisms at play remain under investigation, the facial feedback effect appears to play a significant role.

Who is my ideal client? 🧐
A patient asked me this the other day and when put on the spot I wasn’t sure how to answer. The first thing that came to mind was that my ideal client is probably someone similar to myself….. Is that weird? 😅
If you’re like me, you probably like to put some effort into how you look but also fairly easy going and are okay leaving the house with no make-up and a baseball hat.
You make an effort to stay fit and healthy but also love to indulge in the occasional nugget meal and will get ice cream with your kids at any opportunity 😋
I like to live life my best life and striving for perfection is just not it for me. My approach to aesthetics is the same. I want to look good and feel good about myself but not care enough that it’s stealing any of my enjoyment.
I want the same for my patients. I want you to feel good and look good but because you want to not because you think you need to ❤️
