Taking a client from highlight to a full bleach-out can often be a precarious job; there’s a risk of over processing already blonde highlights, and the hair left between your previous foils neeeds to be picked out and bleached or it will make ends look darker and warmer than the freshly bleached roots.

This first session ended up pretty damn perfect! ❄️

I can’t get over this dramatic change we did for last night😱 We wanted to create something dramatic that would grow out with minimal maintenance. her hair is quite thick, and I didn’t feel like highlights alone would give as much brightness as I wanted, so I used a combination of hair painting for the ends and foils along the top for an all around brighter blonde.

I’m stoked on how this turned out. I planned to release a collection of buzz cut designs that Zane and I have been creating over the last few months, but I feel like this one deserves its own post.
