Hi! My name is Kim. If you don’t know me, I’m the face of Blush. You’ve probably heard me cracking jokes, telling stories, moving fast, or standing out with my strong personality.

We made it to 9 years. Big deep breath!! They’ve been anything but smooth or perfect. It’s been up and down… like a toxic relationship at times. Unpredictable, stressful, emotional… I’ve tried leaving once before. Contemplated selling at least a 1000 times but I always got back up. My dad has truly been a gem. When I couldn’t see my own potential, he believed in me and carried the confidence I didn’t have yet. My parents bullied the self doubt out of me until I found my rhythm.

Being the boss meant having to face everything,
whether I was ready or not. I had to confront hard moments head-on, stay quick on my feet, and keep moving even when it felt heavy. That pressure taught me more than I ever expected, and the knowledge I gained here has shaped how I show up in my personal life.

I wanted to create a high valued salon that attracted a type of clientele that were wanting the same thing. With great service and high standard products.

My work life has always outweighed my personal life, and because of that, this shop became my whole world. Blush isn’t just where I work, it’s where my heart lives. Being in this space opened my mind to so many ideas different lanes. What makes it all worth it is how deeply I love what I do. Coming to the shop feels easy because my clients feel like family, people I’ve built real meaningful connections with over the years ✨

Oh the countless hours, days, and sleepless nights filled with stress, tears, anxiety and determination. I’m endlessly grateful for this whole experience. A huge thank you to our clients who have seen every chapter, every high, every low, and still chose to support Blush. All the compassion and vulnerability here. I wouldn’t be who I am today without you.

There’s going to be a lot of changes this year and I don’t know what’s in store for the next chapter.. but I’m buckled in and forever grateful for the love and support that’s carried me this far. I’m just a girl 💗
