We’re calling this “barely there bronde” for those natural girlies who are too afraid to color their hair but want a little dimension / ✨
Zoe very much wanted to stay around her natural vibe, and had no color in her hair at all!!! She wanted something that looked like the sun lightened her hair, or it happened completely naturally and I think we hit it on the mark.
Neesa Marie | Lived In Hairstylist and I used hi lift (zero lightener) for a softer color. Originally we used 10.01 + 10.21 + 20 vol and it wasn’t shifting it enough so we then added 12.21 with 30vol again on top! Hi lift can be scary and it feels unpredictable BUT we were pleasantly surprised!

I didn’t plan on having the consult audio recorded but I also sometimes love just listening to appointments without any background audio! You catch the realness of the conversations !
“Can you close that blind” - finding proper lighting for videos and after photos!! A constant battle! I’m constant trying different settings and moving clients around the shop to hopefully capture the after as best as I can!
Sometimes it doesn’t need to be hours and hours long to achieve what is needed.
Her main concern was the grey band around her hairline. Instead of doing a whole massive color I focused are whole service just around the hairline.
I personally love 10min color gels by at the sink for grey blending because it covers just enough to blend out the grey but keeps the natural dimension. It also is a really soft grow out and doesn’t leave a harsh demarcation!
