You know the feels that we’ve all been having, over these last 2 years. Like some days, you’re just getting through in survival mode… some days, more motivated than others.

Today, I am reminded how grateful I am.
To have spent so much time surrounded by people that build me up.
Support my craft.
Check in and cheer me on.
Thanks for showing up and keeping a smile on my face.
Last year’s lessons and experiences are sending me into a new year with more confidence and drive to conquer MORE 🙌🏼

I’m kickstarting this year with a trip home to spend time with my family.
The roots ❤️🙏🏼
I will be away from Jan 8-16

Then back refreshed and ready to GO 💪🏼

I work a couple mornings a week in Langford, styling hair for the most beautiful bo***ir sessions✨
I’ve met some amazing ladies and made great friends with Chelsea Smith (the mastermind photographer)and Trish Monkhouse (the make up extraordinaire)

Behind the chair, I have been renting a spot at Vibe Salon for two years now, starting the month the pandemic hit. Funny timing!

I have newly started at Wild Oak Hair Collective on Friday’s, in Royal Oak. For the ones that know me… I like a change of scenery from time to time 😅 It seems to be working out so well, for myself and clients coming from Saanich to Sidney or heading in from Westshore area.

A couple cute cuts, curls and colours from the past busy while. Going through my phone photos, it’s usually one of three things. Hair, food and beaches from the summer and more recently, hair, food and a pretty cute kitten that has my heart in a trap 😁
Only a few more days of this year… the never ending ground hog days! Reflecting on the positive things this year has brought, sure does put a smile on my face ❤️ May we have more of those in the year ahead! An early wish to a happy healthy New Year to all.

The salon has been swarmed with “get rid of this Covid hair”... this time of year has always inspired change for many.
Usually, shorter and blonder in preparation for an easier, brighter summer look.
This was such a fun end to my week.
Joanne came in with this.
