Team of two sisters based in Victoria BC. Lead artist Ravneet specializes in modern and traditional Indian bridal henna. She is a regular attendee of the Spring Fling Henna Conference held in Oakland California each year to fine tune her skills and learn new techniques and trends. Second artist Jasleen has 2 wedding seasons under her belt and is available for all your non bridal needs. Henna is not just for weddings, it can be done for any occasion such as baby showers, birthdays, grad, or just cause you want to treat yourself!

At YYJ Mehndi, we are passionate about the use of 100% safe, fresh, natural and handmade henna, made fresh for every booking. Ingredients include body art quality henna powder, water, sugar, and essential oils such as tea tree, cajeput, eucalyptus, and lavendar. If you have any concerns or sensitivities, please let the artist know beforehand.

Using commercially produced, chemically adulterated “henna paste” hurts us all. They do not actually contain henna as it is not a shelf stable product once mixed, instead they contain harmful chemicals such as para-phenyldiamine, kerosene, benzene, solvents, dyes, etc.. I would never put my customers or myself at risk. Always ask your henna artist about what they put into their henna paste. We will gladly answer that question. If the artist tells you they bought it from a store, or the cone looks commercially produced, or cannot tell you the ingredients, please take a second to think about your health and well being.

Silver Package: $300
• Arms midway up to elbow
• Feet just past ankles

Bronze Package: $225
• Arms just past wrist
• Feet just past ankles

*All prices are based on full coverage designs for hands and feet. Price adjustments will be made for lesser coverage or if desired coverage is not part of package.
