For 15 years, my sweet Guinness has been by my side at work. 🐾❤️

He has been so much more than a companion. He has quietly augmented my work as a therapist and become an invaluable part of creating a space that feels safe, calm and therapeutic.

Guinness has a way of reminding everyone who walks through my door to slow down, be fully present and simply rest. He has offered comfort without saying a word, and somehow always seemed to know exactly who needed a little extra love that day.

I’m incredibly grateful that I’ve been able to share my workdays with him for all these years. His presence has coloured my practice in ways I could never have imagined when he first started coming to work with me.

His mobility is declining now, and his days at the clinic are mostly coming to an end. It feels like the right time to capture some of the beautiful memories he has created here and to acknowledge just how special his place in my practice has been.

So, I thought I’d share a little glimpse of my sweet boy and the many years he spent helping me create a space where people could breathe a little deeper. ❤️

Some dogs leave paw prints on your heart. Guinness has left them all over my practice. 🐾
