thoughts on thread lifts 🪡
Kraftwürk was proud to be one of the first clinics in the region to officially offer Silhouette Instalift, the only Heath Canada approved thread lift. over the past 6 months there have been many questions regarding ideal candidacy and what to expect following treatment.
patient selection is one of the most important factors in ideal outcomes with this treatment. it is costly and must be known that it is not always an alternative to surgery. this means that if you need a facelift, you need a facelift.
although extremely effective for those aged 35-60 years old with mild to moderate skin laxity it will not remove excess tissue but rather lift and reposition existing tissues. Instalift is often advised in combination with multiple procedures to address global volume and collagen loss at all levels. as always, every long term treatment plan is customized and created to address the unique needs and goals of each individual patient.
performed in less than an hour an immediate lift is achieved with results that can last up to two years.

based in waterloo region would be a bonus however is not mandatory. must be available week days and the occasional weekend. hours will vary, average 10-20 hours per week.
must have experience in social media content creation with an interest in the beauty industry and medical aesthetics. you will be assisting with multiple aspects of the practice to include some scheduling, packing orders and creating social media content. time will be both in person and some remote.

a recent favourite🧴
a.g.e. interrupter is meant to improve creping, thinning skin. rather than twice daily i have been using it nightly as a sleep mask. the last step in my evening routine i apply a generous amount to my entire face, neck and chest. and by generous i mean lots. full glowing glossy skin. early enough before bed though to ensure most product has absorbed rather than rubbing off on bedding.

stage one complete.
this patient had filler over a year ago to her lips. following treatment the top lip was left uneven, bulky above the vermilion border and lacked definition. as treatment was performed at another office product and amount used, location and technique of injection were all unknown.
in order to achieve our shared goal of enhanced shape and improved symmetry remaining filler first had to be removed.
dissolving previous filler requires patience and mutual trust between both the patient and injector. not all product needs to be removed however some problems can not be masked by adding more filler. swelling will improve as she heals over the next two weeks at which time we will reassess and plan to refill.

high risk when paired with careful planning and patient selection may come with high reward.
although incredibly satisfying to perform i am extremely selective with patients most suited to safe outcomes with non surgical nose jobs.
the anatomy of the nose is unique and carries higher risks of major complications than other parts of the face.
patient selection is critical along with an in-depth discussion about known complications and risks. i say no to this procedure as often as i say yes and will routinely refer patients to meet with a plastic surgeon to ensure best outcomes.
