Day two is complete! Today was another amazing day of learning and networking. I also did a thing I thought I would never do, MY LIPS 💋 I had an opportunity to participate in a Julie Horne master class as a model and I took it. It is a lot to get used to, but I keep telling myself what I tell my clients, the swelling will go down lol

Thank you to all the dedicated and hardworking nurses out there. Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed. You are appreciated 💕🥂

Happy early Mother's Day to me! My husband is working this weekend, so Ethan and his daddy wanted to spoil me early. Thank you so much 🥰 l love you both so much. I am so fortunate to be your mom Ethan John. You have taught me so much and I love you more than words can express.

Happy St Patrick's Day to all my Irish and Irish just for today friends.

I love a great deal, who doesn't? But sometimes a great deal can go horribly wrong and end up costing you a lot more than you bargained for. I find this is especially true when we are talking about injectables.

When you are researching your options, please don't make price the only determining factor. Cost is important, however you can't put a price on your safety. Included in a price of a reputable injector is:

1. Training and continuing education $$$
2. Experience
3. Quality products
4. Ability to treatment complications
5. Accountability
6. Patient focused care

Service providers that check all these boxes cost more because these factors cost the injector money and time to acquire. Their training and safe practices are imperative to your safety as well as the final results. My advice is to please research your injector before treatment and don't only focus on the pricelist. Finding an injector that makes you feel comfortable, that is patient focused, and has the experience to make you goals a reality is priceless 💕

Your lips have been poked upwards of 40 times and it is a very vascular area. The swelling, bruising, and asymmetry is completely normal while the lips are healing. It will all resolve after they have healed.

For all my clients that are wanting to look great for an up coming event, be it a wedding, vacation, or photo shoot, this post is for you. Book your treatment 1 month from the date of your event. Why?

Neuromodulators are an amazing way to smooth out fine lines and improve your complexion before a big event. However, the treatment results will appear softer and more natural between 4-8 weeks. This because the medication has time to settle. You will have a bit more expression during this time, compared to the first 4 weeks after treatment.

In saying this, the treatment will still appear natural between 2-4 weeks, but it is at its strongest. Therefore, it will feel tighter and the ability to emote will be less.

Ultimately, it all depends on the look you are wanting to achieve. Everyone is different. Some love the first 2-4 weeks of treatment and others love it when it settles more.

Preparing for your lip filler appointment is very important. You want to make sure that you are able to convey to you injector your goals and expectations. My job is to create the lips of your dreams (within reason lol). You also want to make sure that your body is prepared to heal quickly after treatment. This means following all pretreatment instructions. Lastly, remember that it can take more than one session to achieve your lip goals. Be patient and trust the process 💋
