Big news – I’m going back to school! (I know, stop me if you’ve heard this one already.) I’m going to explore osteopathy and come out in three years with a DOMP (diploma of osteopathic manual practice).

If you’re interested, I’ll be sharing my experiences with you on my website (haven't set up the blog page yet). I’ll be looking at what osteo is, with the inevitable compare and contrast with massage therapy, because that’s what I know. I’m looking for a new bias after 20 years as an RMT and new ways to treat my clients, as well as more techniques to help relieve pain and get the body moving better.

The study is part time, so I don’t have to give up work to get this done. For my massage peeps, this school is modular, so if you want to take a course, you can just pop in and take one with no prerequisites. Check out Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy if you’re interested. There’s a lot there that we only glanced at in massage school.

Wow. Today marks my 20th registration anniversary! 🥳🥳 It seems long and it seems short.

I've been bounced around this last couple of years, with a renoviction and an unsuitable living/working space. But now I've landed with an office space back on Park St, right next to the building site that was my old place! I'll let you know when the sign's back up. 😃
