I had a blast working with these 2 beautiful ladies today! It was a long time coming too because of the pandemic, we've been emailing back and forth for 3 years. I'm so happy I finally got to meet them and glam them up for the big day!

Not only did I do their makeup but they trusted me to do their hair as well!

It was a great experience for me and it was so much fun to get to know them and hear all of their stories ❤️

I'm clearly out of practice and forgot to take a single photo today but I had so much fun doing makeup for the bride and 4 bridesmaids ❤ they all looked stunning!! Hopefully I can get some good photos from the photographer later 🤞

Here's a glimpse at the process of a lash lift!

☆ Lash adhesive to either small, medium or large silicone shields
☆ Perm 15 minutes

Well...I got headshots done for the first time! Where I work full time got all new headshots done by and they turned out amazing!!

Doing makeup for headshots can be stressful. What's the lighting going to be like? Should I wear a bold lipstick? Should I try and improve my features? I have a few tips to help you out!

☆ Skip the contour! The lighting used may not be forgiving when you contour, you may come out looking slightly orange. I would recommend taking a large fluffy brush and dusting some light bronzer around your face to add a tiny bit of colour. Skipping contour and doing light bronzing will help achieve a more natural look

☆ Use a natural blush colour! And use a light hand when applying. You want to add colour to your face and look slightly flushed but you want to stay away from looking like a clown

☆ Skip the highlight! The lighting used for headshots can make your skin look shiny already (especially if you have oily skin), you don't want extra shine to take away from your gorgeous photo

☆ Keep the eyes bright! This is basically as it sounds, use bright eyeshadows that will help open your eyes. Using a brown eyeshadow for your liner will help keep the look soft and warm and will accentuate your eye shape and colour, making your eyes pop

☆ Use a natural lip colour! I like to use this tip for almost all my clients. A natural lip colour will bring some colour to your face without being overwhelming and you don't have to worry about your lip product bleeding or wearing down

☆ Less is more! You want to look like yourself for headshots. Keep the makeup simple and minimal and let your natural beauty shine

💙 If you want to skip a step in your makeup routine or if you can't wear mascara, get your lashes lifted and tinted! Both services replace the need for mascara. The lift curls your lashes and the tint darkens your lashes which makes your eyes look more open and awake. This will last roughly 4-6 weeks and makes your life much easier.

💙 Important - don't wet your eyes for 24 hours after the service. Avoid oil based products as they will reduce the length of the results!

💙 Do your brows need some cleaning up? Or are you unsure what brow shape suits your face shape? Get your brows shaped! Depending on how quickly your hair grows back, a brow shape can last from 2-4 weeks!

Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I've popped on here. I felt silly posting anything because of COVID and the new normal we are living.

As things start to reopen, I've been thinking a lot about how I can keep my clients and myself safe. My decision right now is to remain closed until August as I have been around an essential worker every day during this pandemic and want to ensure everyone's safety. I will also be moving in the middle of July therefore will not have everything prepared. I hope you understand.

Come August, I'll be available to do my normal services for brows and lashes! I will also be opening my makeup services. I hope things will have settled down by August however if they haven't, I will have safety protocols in place:

1. I, myself, will be wearing a mask and gloves. I will use disposable items and sanitize everything I use - this includes makeup brushes, the aesthetics bed, my hands, anything I touch, door handles, etc. This also includes fresh linens for each client.

2. If you are coming to get your brows and/or lashes done, I will ask that you wear a mask. If you don't have one, I will have disposable masks on hand!

3. Everyone will be required to either wash their hands or use hand sanitizer before we begin. I will have both options available to you. I also recommend you do this before you leave.

4. I will not take cash payments at this time. I will ask for etransfers until further notice - I understand that this can be a pain but it is for your safety as well as my own.

5. I will be taking less clients throughout the day as I will require more time in between appointments to sanitize everything and prepare for the next client.
