Looking back at last year’s timber frame build in Bamfield—feels like a full-circle moment as I start building my own timber frame home now. A lot of lessons learned, a lot of sawdust inhaled, and now it’s time to put that experience to work on my own place. Excited for what’s ahead!

Small build, big tradition! I finished this outbuilding with charred wood siding (Shou Sugi Ban). It’s a stunning and durable technique rooted in history, combining style with resilience. Who else is ready to fire up their next project?
