True Colors friends, some of you may know the story of our daughter Mikaela’s medical journey. It’s ever evolving and is a huge part of why I opened my own salon space; So we as a family could have the flexibility we need to give care for her and each other. She was asked to be apart of this amazing fundraising effort.

In this industry the people who sit in our chairs start as nothing more than a client, a stranger. Over time the relationship grows and changes. Our clients become our friends and ultimately an extension of our families.
Yesterday I lost one of these such people.
Miss Molly entered my life 4 years ago when I opened True Colors. She was a spry, sassy and oh so sweet 96 year old then. Who loved her roller sets to be combed out to look like the Queen.
Earlier this year the kids and I were blessed to spend her 100th birthday with her; she always loved seeing M & Z! I will miss her and our time together.
Till we meet again Little Miss Molly.

It’s a crazy time for everyone so if you’re in need of anything hair please reach out sooner than later. I will be away from my chair sporadically this summer for all the fun things we’ve missed out on the last couple years; weddings, concerts, camping, kids camps and all things that are just better with sunshine up in that big blue Alberta sky!!
