It's been one year since I lost my sister/ business partner and almost 4 weeks since losing Morris. My family has had a lot of loss & heartbreak in a short time. After a lot of reflection, I have decided to not return to the spa. I've had the pleasure to take care of a lot of wonderful people for a long time but now it's time for me to focus on myself. Physically, mentally and spiritually. I'm not sure what this all looks like right now but I know it means being more available for myself, my kids & grandkids.
To all of my clients:
I have been very fortunate to have met you all and you've become like family. I am grateful for each of those relationships. My passion for this job has fizzled and you deserve more than me just going through the motions. I know you will be well taken care of by many of the talented people in the beauty & wellness industry that we have in our beautiful city. 12 years has gone by since we opened the spa. Sometimes that seems crazy to me!!! 2023... I did over half the year without the Na to my Ly. I will always be grateful for the amazing business opportunity that my sister helped me with. Karol decorated the space perfectly! Everyone always comments how beautiful the decor is and how relaxing it is here. I feel you everywhere, from the paint colours on the walls, to the art work and accent pieces throughout, dear sister.
12 years has gone by and I am grateful to friends and fellow business people that told me the truth about starting a business. You told me about the grit and dedication it would take to be successful. Thank you for not sugar coating anything.
12 years has gone by and I am grateful to have worked with two amazing estheticians, who helped me build this little empire. You stuck with me during the busy and slow seasons, economic uncertainties and you made the work days awesome with our twisted sense of humour. Neither of you are with me anymore and I miss you all the time! But I'm so proud of you and love watching where your life adventures are taking you!
12 years has gone by and I am grateful for each client that has ever come through that door. Many of you have become close friends. We have shared stories of our families, travels, happiness and sadness, I treasure each one of those relationships.
