ICE & INK

…and that’s a wrap. 🤍

I’ve accepted a full-time position and, due to the nature of my new role, I’ll be stepping away from my business and PMU.

If you would have told me in January that I’d be writing this post in September, I wouldn’t have believed you. This year has brought a lot of unexpected change. I downsized, moved to Regina, and had been commuting back to Weyburn while exploring options to continue my business here. In the midst of struggling figuring out what that might look like, an incredible career opportunity presented itself.

It’s a role that brings together so many of my strengths and gives me the opportunity to take everything I’ve learned from building and running my own business and contribute to something bigger. This path is exactly the right fit for this stage of my life, my lifestyle, and my long-term goals. I’m genuinely excited for what’s ahead.

That excitement doesn’t make closing this chapter any less difficult and I hate feeling like I’m letting anyone down. This business gave me the opportunity to build a career doing something I truly loved, and that only happened because of all of you. To every client who trusted me, supported me, came back year after year, referred your friends and family, and allowed me to do this for a living, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will never take it for granted. 🤍

Unfortunately there wasn’t a practical way to make this type of transition happen gradually. Between the immediate transition and scheduling conflicts with my shared treatment room and new work schedule, I’m unable to accommodate any further bookings beyond those already scheduled.

For right now, I’ll be marking my social media pages as closed and I won’t be monitoring the inboxes anymore, but I don’t intend on taking them down just yet. If you want to stick around in case anything ever changes, please do.

I’m incredibly proud of what I built, grateful for every person who helped make it possible, and genuinely excited to see what this next chapter brings. 🤍
