…well 2026 has started off with a big shift for us as we said goodbye to our much loved partners the green moustache … they have headed off on their own personal adventures and they will be so missed … it has given us the chance to spread out and take up some more space which feels really good … keep following us for more updates about pop ups , workshops and events …

slightly rainy today and a perfect day for getting on with some sewing … new quilts coming in soon ….

our handmade quilts can be inspired by many things .. these sweet soft pinks and grey lilacs beloved by an amazing 8yr old local girl we made a special quilt for prompted these two we just put out in the shop … these handmade scrapped scavenged blankets are our ode to letting go of perfection … they are puckered and stained and full of sewing missteps and every little ‘mistake ‘ is an opportunity for patching and repair that all adds character … most importantly as they are used and age and wear over time , those opportunities grow and you can add your own touches of beauty …

…. we’ve added a couple of handmade scrap quilts this week … rustic, recycled and made in whistler ..
