I remember 5 years ago, I used to dread Mondays.

I was in a job that was unfulfilling, and my self trust and self leadership was at an all time low.

I was too afraid of the unknown to let go of this job and I needed to be in control of the outcomes.

I felt so much resistance in my life at this time. Everything felt hard, like I was swimming upstream.

Fast forward to today. Another Monday, yet it feels so different.

I am now excited for Monday’s. For a fresh week and new opportunities.

The difference between these 5 years is night and day.

All because now I say yes to the work that lights me up and no to the work that doesn’t.

I let my desires lead what I do.

I trust myself and do the inner work to continually deepen that trust.

I bring intentionality into every aspect of my life.

I believe that success is not just a job title or an income level.

I am now able to go with the flow of life instead of working against it.

If I can put a word to describe the feeling between then and now, it’s ‘soaring’.

I truly believe that everyone can and deserves to soar in their life. To feel lightness, ease and joy, even as challenges arise.

As we embark on a new week in a new month, I encourage you to look at where you might be holding back, where you might not be fulling leading with desire. And what shifts you can make so that you soar 💜💜💜

Since starting out on this journey as an entrepreneur, I have completely changed the way I make decisions in my business.

When I first started I did all the things that you are “supposed” to do. I made strategic decisions that I thought I needed to in order grow my business.

But I have come to realize that the things that I was doing, didn’t actually feel good.

The decisions I made because I thought I “should” were actually not in alignment with how I want to run and operate in my business.

And so I stopped doing them. Even though these strategies are “proven” ways to grow and be successful.

But they didn’t feel right for me.

Now I make decisions based on what feels good, what I desire.

All of this is to say that you are allowed to run your business (and life) in a way that feels good. Simple as that.

Trust that you know what is best for you and you will make decisions that are the most aligned.

The relationship we have with ourselves is the most important relationship we will ever have. And like any worthwhile relationship, we have to nourish it and tend to it.

I treated myself today to a luxurious bubble bath. I purchased something special for myself. I went for a walk in the beautiful sunshine.

I am so committed to my relationship with myself. I will continue to nourish and deepen the love.

I have always known that I am here to serve.

It has been a deep calling of my soul since I can remember.

Growing up I often felt that there was the weight of the world on my shoulders. I saw and heard of people unhappy and suffering and I felt a part of their pain.

I remember wanting to help people see their own power over their situations. But at the time I didn’t know what my service looked like.

That calling to be of service has never left me. It is my soul calling. I am following that pull. I know it will lead me to everything I desire 💕

The first time I purchased a spot in a self development group program I didnt tell anyone. At the time I was so afraid to invest in myself. I feared that other people would judge me and think who is she to spend that amount of money on herself? And then I started believing that. That I wasn’t worth the investment. That there were so many other things that I could (and should) spend my money on.

But when I decided to do it anyways, I invested in a program that was more than I was making a month. At first I regretted it. The stories about money and worth came back. But I started the program anyways. And it was the best decision ever.

When we feel stuck, or are looking for answers or are wondering how to move forward either in life or in business, often we aren’t quite sure what to do. We don’t know how to move forward, or what our next step is.

Often this is because we are so close to the situation. We have an attachment to the outcome. We are invested. Because it’s our life, our business.

Because we are so close to the situation, we can’t see what’s right in front of us. We can’t see the other possibilities or the way forward.

That’s why it is so beneficial to have a coach. Someone who is outside of the situation. Someone who does not necessarily have an attachment to the outcome. Someone who is not emotionally tied to the results.

A coach can see things that we can’t see ourselves, being so close to the situation. They can help to provide clarity. They can look at things from a place of objectivity that we often have trouble doing when we have a stake in it.

This is why I personally have a coach and hopefully always will. Because I desire continued growth in my life and my biz. Continued success. More impact and more income.
