You’re allowed to change your mind.

You’re allowed to change the way you run your business, set a boundary you didn’t have before, raise your prices, change your policies, or decide something just doesn’t work for you anymore.

You don’t need a dramatic reason. You don’t need everyone to understand it. And you definitely don’t owe anyone an explanation.

People respect businesses that respect themselves. 🍸

I thought being understanding made me a good business owner.

Butttttt I was just really fu***ng good at paying for everyone else’s emergencies 😂

There’s a difference between having empathy for your clients and running your business with zero boundaries. It took me 10 years and about $2k/month in lost appointments to figure that one out.

Policies aren’t personal. Boundaries aren’t rude. And you can genuinely care about your clients without making their life happening your financial responsibility.

The s**t they definitely didn’t teach us in beauty school. 🍒
