August was filled with lots of good food, traveling to Switzerland, makeup, the demolition derby (not pictured) time with my poppy, visiting with my bestie!!

My job is the least interesting thing about me 🤭

I’m so honoured I got to be apart of this brides special day, I wanted to take a second to share this beautiful story.

Jasmyne’s best friend Katelyn reached out to me a couple weeks ago (I had done her sisters wedding makeup 4 years ago) her bestie wanted to gift her the true wedding morning experience of having her makeup done as these were special circumstances for their wedding. Jasmyne’s fiancé has been battling a very rare and aggressive cancer.
Yesterday morning was filled with so much love and laughter. Jasmyne and her husband are proof of love and resilience that surround and should inspire all of us. I’m so incredibly honoured I got to be apart of such a special day.

Thank you to these beautiful friends for their trust yesterday!

MY CUP IS ALWAYS FULL 💗

When we say the day of is always better, we mean it 😅

TRIAL 💗
We had a heavier blush application, which was a lot brighter
Bright pink lipstick and when I got home I was like oop I don’t love that!
We opted for no false lashes for the trial because we didn’t feel it was necessary
Eyes were a lot more bronzed pink and less shimmery

DAY OF 💗
Changed the blush shade and made it more subtle and natural
More pink on the eyes and more shimmer!
Changed the lip colour (bride brought her own)
Bright under eye with powder
Changed the bronzer shade to be more natural

I told my bride Jessica to really dissect her trial and let me know what she loved and didn’t love, this helps for the day of out come! I want you to love your makeup, that’s the whole point!
