Let’s talk tattoo removal and cover-ups after removal!

My beautiful client came in today (who, by the way, is an incredible hairdresser in the Edmonton area — .her.edit.yeg

She had microblading done about 10 years ago and, over time, decided it wasn’t the right fit for her. After having her brows removed, she was left with some yellow pigment — which is actually very normal after tattoo removal. Yellow tones can sometimes be more stubborn and more difficult to fully remove on some individuals than others.

Her goal today was to keep things extremely soft, natural, and effortless, so that’s exactly what we did. 🤍

Because we are working over residual yellow pigment, we’ve decided to take a slow and intentional approach. We’ll be building her brows over two sessions to help neutralize and cover as much of the yellow as possible while still maintaining a beautiful, natural result.

After just one session, I think we achieved such a gorgeous transformation. I’m so excited to see how these heal and continue building at her touch-up appointment. The goal is always realistic, subtle, and timeless brows that enhance—not overpower—your natural features.
