Just a quick reminder for people that No Show. In addition to being charged the full amount of the appointment you missed, this may lead to online booking permissions being revoked as well.

Many small businesses have a waitlist for openings and it is often not possible to fill those spots last minute and allow someone else to utilize those services.

The booking system sends enough reminders for you to be able to communicate any scheduling conflicts. It is your choice to read them or not. Going into the school year and hunting season, please communicate and needed appointment changes an I will always do my best to accommodate you.

I always forget to take before and after photos. But here is a great example of a lower leg sugaring. This should last about 6 weeks. And the best part is your hair will come back pointed instead of blunt. Feeling much softer.

It’s been a long time coming but I will no longer be taking requests for appointments through Facebook Messenger. Why do I use towels instead of paper?

There are so many reasons I choose to fold mountains of towels every day. Here are a few of them:

First and foremost: comfort.
I never want my clients to feel self-conscious about sweating or sticking to paper during a service. These appointments can leave people feeling vulnerable, and anything I can do to make someone feel more comfortable and cared for is a priority to me.

Paper can feel very clinical — like a doctor’s exam table. While that may be appropriate in a medical setting, I feel towels create a much more elevated, warm, and comfortable experience for the services I provide.

I also try to be mindful about waste.
Living in a more remote area has made me more aware of the garbage we create and the impact it has. Choosing reusable towels over single-use paper products helps reduce waste and allows me to feel better about the footprint Bare North leaves behind. Do you notice a difference?
