We’ve done it before and we’ll do it again... because it’s one of my favourites and many of my clients favourite treatment.

Laser Genesis is a non-invasive laser treatment that works to even skin tones, treat fine lines and wrinkles, scars, large pores and active acne. This heat-based laser uses the body's natural processes to stimulate collagen growth to heal and replenish healthy skin tone and texture.

Although one treatment can show results Laser genesis is known for it's cummulative effect. Weather your goal is to soften fine lines, scaring, even the skin tone, or calm down redness from roceasea, a series of 4-6 sessions is usually recommended for optimal results. The treatments are best spaced 3-4 weeks apart.

Laser Genesis can provide permanent results when being used to treat scars, but when treating pigment issues, such as rosacea, follow up treatments are recommended.

Laser Hair Removal Tips: Part 2.
* You might need to switch up your beauty regime and products. Scrubs, glycolic acid and retinol creams should be avoided 2 days before and after treatment. It’s recommended that for a 2 week period before and after laser, you avoid chemical peels and similarly you should wait 1-2 weeks before getting a fake tan.
* Laser hair removal has more than one benefit, laser can actually help with irritating ingrown hairs. Aside from clearer, smoother skin and permanent hair reduction, laser hair removal also boasts benefits including helping to reduce ingrowing hairs and less irritation of the skin. This is because the treatment encourages hair to grow straight.
*You can’t pluck, dye or wax the hair. Plucking, waxing and bleaching impedes the process the hair needs to be in the follicle to work. If you want to be hairless throughout the process, go the shaving route instead.
*It works on all skin tones
The hair just needs to be dark enough to absorb the laser. An NDYAG laser – is safe for treating pigmented or darker skin tones and we have one at Tbeau Laser.
*You might need to go back for touch up treatments
