Classic lash extensions, what are they and what’s the difference between other lash services? Take a look at the photo above to see the differences in how many lashes are being used during a service. ⁣

Classic lashes use a 1:1 application, meaning one extension per one natural lash and usually use lash extensions with a thickness/weight up to .18! The idea is to create a more lifted, open eyed look with the perfect amount of drama. ⁣
⁣
Volume or hybrid services use a lesser weight especially when using fans to complete a set with a 3:1 and higher with a group of lash extensions being placed on one natural lash. Volume lashes create the ultimate amount of drama for lots of oomph! ⁣

Why is it important? Just like our skin, our lashes can become impacted by our everyday lifestyles. Dirt, sweat, and oils can build up on our lashes naturally, and when extensions are placed you now have a barrier between the extensions and the natural lash. ⁣⁣

What does this mean? Without proper cleansing build up of natural oils can cause unwanted visitors known as lash mites, or conditions such as blepharitis. Both will cause itchiness, redness, flaky skin near the base of lash line and sometimes swelling. ⁣⁣

Keep your lashes happy by following these simple tips to cleanse and maintain your beautiful extensions! Not only does help to keep away dirt and oils but keeps your lash extensions looking 👌🏻 ⁣⁣
