Not a fan of filler? Let’s talk about Hyperdilute Radiesse! 💉
There is so much hype online about “collagen stimulation” or “biostimulators”- but what does that actually mean?
At Astral we prefer to use hyper-dilute Radiesse- which is a thinned out injectable that spreads like a skin treatment instead of fully volumizing like a hyaluronic acid filler.
Radiesse is made of CaHA (Calcium hydroxylapatite) which is the same minerals found in bones and teeth. When injected you will see an immediate difference, but this isn’t the final result. Do you want to be an injector? 💉
Being successful in medical esthetics looks different than it did even a few years ago. With more clinics opening and increased competition, it can feel overwhelming to consider entering the field or starting your own practice, especially when comparing yourself to discount pricing or spas with massive marketing teams.
At Astral we offer one on one personalized injection training and shadowing to help you succeed after taking an injection course. We are a busy clinic and perform THOUSANDS of treatments each year. We have extensive experience with anatomy, complication management, and risk reduction.
When I opened Astral I didn’t have many people to ask for guidance, which is why mentorship is so important to me now. I have mentioned before that I’ve spent well over 100k on supplemental training after being certified to inject. That is not to brag or insinuate that I’m better than anyone- but it’s important information to know before you start this journey. The 2 day injection course does not prepare you for real life where you are 100% liable and responsible for injecting your patient correctly.
We have trained many nurses, NPs, and physicians in the area and provide a safe space to practice injections with professional supervision.
This industry is here to stay. There’s room for all of us- the goal should always be safe and collaborative practice! I am here to support you if you have any questions about training or starting your business in general. We love to see everyone succeed!
