Dear Green Envy family…

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closing of Green Envy...As we all know, the pandemic was extremely challenging for small businesses, and most have not recovered...

Green Envy first opened in August of 2018 in South Windsor. It was wonderful hosting pop ups, fundraiser events with local rescues and organizations and putting on community cleanups. Through these events, I met so many of my customers and friends and it was fantastic growing a community of like minded people.

In 2020, I moved the business to Olde Riverside. I was so thankful to the customers who followed to the new location. Then the pandemic hit...and we all know what happened. Even though Green Envy is a refillery, which sells soap, I was not legally able to stay open, so like many others, I had to rely on curbside pickup and delivery. I was grateful to get through most of the pandemic with your support, but the world did not return to normal. Unfortunately, with so many changes beyond our control, peoples way of spending and their habits have changed. In September of 2022, I moved the business in with my friends Amy & Ryan at The Vegan Gardiners. This was a great partnership and the community was very welcoming. Because this location is so close to my last, I didn’t lose many customers, I gained more and the foot traffic was great. Until it slowed down again… Owning and operating a small business is hard to begin with, but I really think it’s even more of a challenge in this city…

As much as I would love to carry on, I need to close this chapter of my life..

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank each and every one of my customers, friends and family who supported my dream of Green Envy. From sharing, liking and tagging the business, to those who came out to the events, fundraisers, the local businesses and magazines who were so kind to feature Green Envy, to those who sent messages and love when I was off for my surgery and the caring messages when I lost family members, to all of my amazing vendors and distributors… I am so incredibly grateful for you all and I will never forget you.

For 5 years, I have been so happy to provide the community with Cruelty-Free, Eco-Friendly, Vegan, low & zero waste, Canadian products….

Please continue to show support and love to our local small businesses! They need us more than ever...
I will continue to be part of the “green” community here in Windsor and would like to still organize events when and where possible.

The last day of business for both shops, will be Saturday July 29th..

There is plenty of stock still, especially BULK! So grab those empty containers and stock up!!!! I look forward to seeing you all over the next month!
