If I could narrow it down to just three skincare essentials, these would be my picks:
☀️ 1. Sunscreen (every single day, all year long)
UV exposure doesn’t take a break in the winter, and neither should your SPF. Daily sunscreen is one of the most effective ways to help prevent premature aging, pigmentation, and sun damage while protecting all of the hard work you’re putting into your skin.
✨ 2. A retinol
Retinol remains one of the most well-studied ingredients in skincare for good reason. It encourages healthy cell turnover, helps stimulate collagen production, softens the appearance of fine lines, improves texture, and can even help with acne and uneven skin tone. It’s a true multitasker.
🍊 3. Vitamin C (with an honourable mention to a great moisturizer!)
A quality moisturizer is always important for maintaining a healthy skin barrier, but if I had to choose, vitamin C gets my vote. Think of it as your retinol’s insurance policy. While retinol works to repair and renew your skin overnight, vitamin C helps protect it during the day by defending against environmental stressors and free radicals. Together, they make an incredibly powerful team for healthy, radiant skin.
The “best” products are always the ones that are right for your skin, so if you’re not sure where to start, I’d be happy to help guide you toward a routine that fits your goals.

Prejuvenation is one of the biggest trends in aesthetic medicine, but what does it actually mean?
At its core, prejuvenation is a proactive approach to aging. Instead of waiting until changes become more noticeable, the focus is on supporting healthy skin early so it continues to age as well as possible over time.
That doesn’t mean everyone needs injectables in their 20s.
Prejuvenation can include wearing sunscreen every day, using medical-grade skincare, maintaining healthy lifestyle habits, and, when appropriate, collagen-stimulating treatments like Sculptra that work with your body’s natural processes to support skin quality and structure.
The goal isn’t to erase every line or chase youth. It’s to help your skin age gracefully while making thoughtful, individualized decisions based on your anatomy, your concerns, and your long-term goals.
The best aesthetic treatment plan isn’t built around what’s trending. It’s built around what’s right for you.

We’ve all been there! 😅
I always encourage my patients to think of Botox (or any other neuromodulator) as part of their long-term maintenance plan rather than a last-minute fix before an event.
Consistent treatments help keep results looking soft, refreshed, and natural over time. They also allow us to stay ahead of deeper lines instead of playing catch-up once they become more established.
Planning ahead can make all the difference, especially if you have a wedding, vacation, photoshoot, or big celebration on the calendar. Giving your treatment time to fully settle means you’ll walk into your event feeling confident and looking like yourself, just a little more rested.
A little planning goes a long way when it comes to aesthetic treatments.

People shouldn’t look at you and wonder what you’ve had done. They should simply think you look refreshed, well-rested, and like the best version of yourself.
In my opinion, great aesthetic medicine isn’t about changing your features or chasing trends. It’s about subtle enhancements that help you look like you, just a little more confident, a little more radiant, and a little more energized.
Every face is unique, which is why I believe in a personalized, conservative approach that respects your natural beauty and focuses on balance rather than transformation.
The ultimate compliment isn’t, “Who did your filler?” It’s: “You look amazing… have you been doing something different?”
If this is an approach you can get behind, I’d love to meet you at my Winnipeg clinic.

My secret? 🤫….
A little medical-grade skincare.
A little neuromodulator.
A little filler in the right places.
A LOT of SPF, obviously.
And a whole lot of consistency.
Looking refreshed isn’t about changing your face, but rather about investing in yourself and enhancing what you already have.
The best compliments are the ones that make people wonder what you’re doing differently, but can’t quite put their finger on it. 😉
If you’ve been thinking about starting your aesthetic journey, let’s create a plan that’s tailored to you, your goals, and the version of yourself you want to see in the mirror.

It sounds a little suspicious when you put it that way. 😅
The reality is that aesthetic medicine isn’t about changing who someone is. It’s about helping people feel refreshed, confident, and more like themselves.
Every treatment is highly individualized and carefully planned. Sometimes the smallest adjustments can make someone feel more rested, more balanced, or simply a little more comfortable in their own skin.
At the end of the day, I don’t just inject. I listen, assess, educate, and work with my patients to achieve natural-looking results that align with their goals.

Lately, one of the biggest shifts in aesthetics has been moving away from focusing on just one feature and instead looking at the face as a whole.
We call it full-face harmonization.
Sometimes the concern you notice, whether it’s under-eye hollowness, a tired appearance, or changes around the mouth, isn’t actually coming from that area alone. The face is incredibly interconnected, and often small, strategic adjustments in the right places can create beautiful, natural-looking balance.
The goal isn’t to make you look different or to chase every trend. It’s to help you look refreshed, rested, and like the best version of yourself.
In my professional opinion, the most natural results usually don’t come from treating one feature in isolation. They come from understanding how all of your features work together.
If you’ve been thinking about treatments but aren’t sure where to start, a full-face assessment is often the best place to begin.

Not every concern requires more filler.
As injectors, we have an incredible responsibility to look at the whole picture. Sometimes that means recommending a different treatment entirely. Sometimes it means taking a more conservative approach. And sometimes, it means telling a patient that they don’t need anything at all.
More product isn’t always the answer. Facial balancing, skin quality, collagen stimulation, neuromodulators, lifestyle factors, and simply allowing time for previous treatments to settle can all play a role in achieving beautiful, natural-looking results.
The best aesthetic outcomes aren’t about chasing volume. They’re about respecting anatomy, preserving expression, and creating a treatment plan tailored specifically to you.
If you’ve ever felt pressured into “just one more syringe,” it may be worth seeking another perspective.
Because good injectors don’t just know how to inject. They know when not to.
One of the least glamorous (but most important) parts of my job is saying no when a treatment isn’t in your best interest. Not every trend, treatment, or viral recommendation is right for every face.
A good injector doesn’t just know how to inject — they know when not to.
The good news? If you’ve had a treatment elsewhere that didn’t go as planned, you’re not alone, and you don’t need to feel embarrassed. My goal is never judgment. It’s education, honest guidance, and helping you find the safest path forward.
Sometimes the best aesthetic decision starts with hearing, ‘I don’t think this is the right fit for you.’ 🤍
