Soy candles poured in small batches, sold here in mini trios so you can try three scents rather than commit to one. The Rustic Collection is the one that goes first — Palo Santo, Mahogany, and something woody enough to suit a house with the heating on.

We stock over thirty Canadian makers, and this is the start of us properly introducing them. One a week.

Twenty-five years ago this morning, 2,977 people went to work, boarded a plane, or answered a call for help, and did not come home.

Office workers. Firefighters. Police officers. Paramedics. Flight crews. Passengers. People from more than ninety countries, including twenty-four Canadians.

A quarter of a century is long enough that there are adults now who weren't born when it happened. Which is exactly why the names are still read aloud every year.

Today we're thinking of every one of them, and of the families who have carried this for twenty-five years.
