We had a great time at the CCRHA Wheat City Derby in Brandon. Congratulations to the winner of the Long Stirrup class and recipient of a free massage treatment courtesy of SR Equine Therapy. We also managed to pick up a few ribbons of our own along the way. Congratulations to all clients and competitors on a successful show!

I had the pleasure of treating this young mare to her first massage this afternoon. She released so well and made the most adorable faces while doing it!
Putting your performance horse back to work this month? Remember to ease them in and watch for signs of tightness in the muscles, just like with any athlete. This young reining mare is going back to work after a few months of light exercise and tends to hold tension in her hind end. A 5 minute release of the glutes and hamstrings has become part of her weekly routine.
