Hello friends and fellow Hairstylists / Barbers!!

Just reminding everyone that the All City Barber Battle is this coming Sunday, August 27! The event starts at 3 PM - 9:30 PM followed by the after party!

There will be several events, which include:
- Fasted Fade
- 21 and Under
- Freestyle Design
- Golden Shears
- Flawless Fade
- Tag Team
- Cut And Shoot

Judging the categories will be local Barbers/Stylist:
- Kelly O’Leary (owner )
- Scott Ramos (owner )
- Andrew Van (owner .barbershop)
- Patrick Ferrer (myself/host)

Remember that this event is open to both barbers and hairstylist to come and compete! This event is open to the public and is kid friendly, so bring the family!

We have some barbers who will be flying in to compete from outside of the province, so we are looking for more local talent to come and join!!! Let’s show these other provinces what Manitoba has the offer!

We are also looking for vendors to have a local market happening at this barbering event, and they don’t have to be hair related. We are looking to help in strengthening our community and support local businesses in the city. so if you or anybody, you know, would be interested in having your own vendor at The All City Barber Battle, please don’t hesitate to message either or myself, or email [email protected]!

Hey everyone!

Just thought I’d let everybody know that there is a Barber battle happening at the end of this month on Sunday, August 27 at the Pyramid Cabaret hosted by Reagan Tran (owner of Swish Barbershop) and myself! This will be the second event we’ve held, titled the “All City Barber Battle”.

The event will consist of several different categories, open to both barbers and hairstylists where they will compete for first second and third place prizes, which includes trophies, product, and Babyliss Pro barber tools.

Amongst the seven different categories, the main event of the evening is titled the “Cut And Shoot”.
This event is unique as it doesn’t just involve the cutting of hair. It is a combination of the art of hair, fashion, and photography. Contestants are to pick any theme of their choice and will be given 90 MINUTES cut and style their models hair into place, as well as dress them up from head to toe, followed by a photoshoot shot by you! You have free range to be as creative as you want to be. But note that everything and everything has to be done by you!

Each contestant will have their selected photograph of their finished product displayed on a big screen and will give a brief summary of the theme they chose, and how everything ties in together. The end results of the photoshoots will be used to determine the winner of the Cut and Shoot event. On top of the trophy, tools, and products, the winner of the Cut and Shoot event will win the grand prize - The All City Barber Battle Championship ring.

The other events of the evening include :

-Golden Shears
-Tag Team (2 barbers 1 head)
-Flawless Fade
-Cut & Shoot

However, my schedule got messed up which resulted in my schedule being blocked off all week. It is now fixed and I have openings from Monday to Wednesday, June 26 until the 28th.
