With my daughter’s permission, I’m sharing a little moment that made the rest of the world disappear for a second. She had just finished drawing a portrait at the market when I noticed what she had written on the back:
“I’m looking at you. Be happy.”
And just like that, my mama heart skipped a beat 🥹
We’ll be at St. Norbert Farmers’ Market tomorrow from 8 AM to 2 PM 🎨 Stop by and let my girls draw a quick portrait for you — you might leave with a smile, too 😊

5️⃣ …and, as always, raising funds for the Ukrainian Army. Thank you, guys, for your unwavering dedication.
6️⃣ My Canadian dad, Doug, showing up with fresh lilies of the valley from his garden 😊
7️⃣ The perfect ending to the evening. From the studio window, I could hear the band continuing outside. You couldn’t even see them behind the trees, but later we saw a crowd of what looked like nearly 100 people gathered around them. Such a cool way to end the night.
