The body needs movement.
When we move our bodies we improve our cardiovascular system, our mood enhances, movement is just good for our muscles but it’s good for our bones too.
We need to move our bodies to help our lymphatic system. Our brain health improves with movement.

Three workshops this week
Hatha at the Wall
Tuesday March 22 10:00am
We use props in yoga to help support our bodies in different shapes. The wall is a great tool for helping us build strength, holding us when we need stability and supporting us when we need a place for deeper rest. During this whole practice we will be using the wall as our tool through our practice.

Shoulder and Neck melt
Wednesday March 23 10:00am
Our upper bodies hold our tension. In today's world we seem to be carrying a lot of extra tension in our shoulders. Enjoy an hour of soothing yin yoga that will focus on the neck and shoulders. We will be using various props and breath work to ease the body, and regain mobility through these areas.

Restorative Practice for the Soul
Thursday March 24 10:00am
Start your day with some relaxation. This slow moving class will hold us in support. We will be using all of our props to support us through this practice, as we rest in each pose. In each pose we will drop into meditation and sink a little deeper into stillness inviting our bodies into a state calm and ease. These longer held positions will allow the body and mind to slow down, and allowing the nervous system and soul to find its much needed rest.

A P A U S E

Taking a pause in regular classes to enjoy some special workshop classes.
It’s been a long 2 years. The body has taken on a lot. Let’s Pause and explore some new ways to relax. The mind, body and soul can unwind through regulating the nervous system — specifically the autonomic nervous system and its response to stress, improving your ability to return to a calm state after stress requires a well-toned nervous system that is resilient.

Releasing the Psoas
Tuesday March 15 10:00am
A yin slow releasing class. This class is focusing on the Psoas. The psoas (when functioning optimally) supports the healthy alignment of the lumbar spine, meaning it plays an important role in maintaining good posture. And when it's not functioning optimally, it can be a major culprit behind back pain and discomfort

A flowing practice of Gratitude

Sometimes we need to move. Our body craves flowing easy movements. Join me in practice, connecting movement to breath. Allowing our bodies to open, to release and connect. Slow down and open yourself up to the beauty of the present moment so you can develop a deep sense of appreciation for everything in this life.
