Good morning everyone

First, I’d like to thank all of you for the words of encouragement and support during this unprecedented time.

You all know I’m a straightforward person, and I always tell it like it is, and that will never change.

With that being said, COVID 19 has now caused me to lose not one, but two tanning salons!

The government mandatorily shutdown, all non essential services, on November 12, 2020 and just stated that we (tanning salons) can re-open February 12, 2021.

As I’ve said before, you cannot take out a tan, order in a tan or curb side pick-up a tan. Therefore there has been zero revenue brought in to the salon.

My heart is broken and many tears have been shed during this time.
There is no possible way, that I can financially survive this last shutdown.
The first shutdown, was bad enough and l lost the Henderson location. To be shutdown twice, is a financial disaster for this small business, and to me personally.

I cannot possibly thank you all enough, for your kind words of encouragement and support.
You are all, like family to me.
I’m so very sorry to let you down.

I love you all, and will miss the friendship you so willingly gave me.
It’s been an honour, and privilege, that you let me into your lives.

Until our paths cross again, stay healthy and look after each other.

Hello to everyone. An update.
First, I’d like to say, THANK YOU, to everyone, for your support and well wishes. I hope you and your people are all healthy and well during this unprecedented time.
Once again, as it happened with the loosening up of restrictions, during the first government lockdown of all non-essential businesses, tanning salons are still not allowed to open at this time.
I don’t understand it, as we use hospital grade sanitizer and social distance all the time, and we NEVER physically touch anyone!
We are still closed until the government makes another announcement on February 8th!
I lost the Henderson location because of the first government lockdown, and I fear I will not survive this closure.
As I’ve said, you can’t order in a tan, take out a tan or curb side pick up a tan. With that being said, I have ZERO revenue since November 12, 2020.
Everything I have, is invested in my remaining salon. I’m terrified. Many tears have been shed.
I will let you all know more, as I know more.

T’was a month before Christmas, and all through the town, people wore masks that covered their frown. The frown had begun way back in the Spring, when a global pandemic changed everything. They called it corona, but unlike the beer, it didn’t bring good times, it didn’t bring cheer. Contagious and deadly this virus spread fast, like a wildfire that starts when fueled by gas. Airplanes were grounded, travel was banned, borders were closed across air, sea and land. As the world entered lockdown to flatten the curve, the economy halted and folks lost their nerve. From March to July we rode the first wave, people stayed home they tried to behave. When summer emerged the lockdown was lifted, but away from caution many folks drifted. Now it’s November and cases are spiking, wave two has arrived much to our disliking. Frontline workers, doctors and nurses, try to save people from riding in hearses. This virus is deadly, this COVID-19 , there isn’t a cure, there is no vaccine. It’s true that this year has had sadness a plenty, we’ll never forget the year 2020. And just ‘round the corner the holiday season, but why should we be merry? Is there even one reason, to decorate the house and put up the tree, when no one will see it, no one but me. Outside my window the snow gently falls and I think to myself, let’s deck the halls!
So I gather the ribbon, the garland and bows, as I play Christmas carols my happiness grows. Christmas isn’t cancelled and neither is hope, if we lean on each other, I know we can cope...
