This lovely client–who initially came to see me 3 or 4 years ago–recently booked in for a microblading touch-up. I also recommended a colour correction for the existing pigment once the microblade heals.

If you have brows that have faded a bit ashy over time, it’s important to know that microblading alone will not address it! A micropigmentation colour correction, combined with a microblade, will keep your brows looking fresh and vibrant.

Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (and Orange Shirt Day) in Canada, a day to honour residential school Survivors and the children who never returned home.

There are plenty of events commemorating the day, as well as resources to learn more about residential schools and their ongoing impact. (Did you know the last school closed only 25 years ago?)

Every single one of us play a role in reconciliation. Personally, I commit to listening and learning–and unlearning–every day, and creating a safe, inclusive space for all.
