I as I approach my 9th month at I’d like to refresh some of my policies as Ive recently acquired many new faces :)

The last 10 years of my career have been extremely diverse - I left a traditional salon setting and self managed my bookings up until 3-4 years ago where I went back to working in a commission setting - this came after owning businesses during COVID and complete burnout. Texting clients all day is fun MOST of the time until you end up with no shows, a lot of back and forth and clients texting outside of work hours.

For the last few years I have have still been answering texts from a lot of my fave clients and creating spots that might not normally exist because I adore so many of you - however in the last year I’ve also seen the most no shows and last minute cancellations I’ve ever had in 30 years.

So I’ve made the tough decision to ask that all of you contact the salon via phone or make your future bookings online - this will ensure that you leave a CC and create more security for me. I simply cannot afford to keep losing money and having tough conversations.

I appreciate all of you so much and I thank you in advance for making the switch and taking some of the work off my plate - it’s hard to get to texts in a timely manner when i’m with other clients or in my studio

My suggestion is to book your next few appointments to avoid interruptions - I’ve been offering up a few sneaky spots here and there but this is a very busy time of year for me with all three jobs moving simultaneously with little wiggle room to spare - I’m happy to try my best to accommodate but it’s hard to change my schedule last minute
Also starting in December I ask that you call the desk to make your appointments so that we can make you a proper file and log your CC - this will help me with charges for any missed or last minute no shows ( if I’m being honest I can’t afford any more unpaid appts - I know life happens but all other types of businesses charge for these types of events - I appreciate your understanding)

Hey pals!
I feel like summer is starting to slip away which means that my fall will be looking a bit more structured

Nearly six weeks ago I extended my hours and made myself available for bookings via text, online and the phone lines at - and it’s been going great! So great that I find that I’m booked out at least a week or so at a time - ty ty ty!
That being said I want to remind you to PREBOOK your remaining appts for the year
This is my busy time with my shows, markets and all of you being back to work / school.
Most of my time away from the chair is already blocked off and I’m open to coming in early or staying late an hour is I can ( but I can’t promise that all the time lol )

Thanks again for being so open to fresh start and new beginnings- you’re amazing
