Laser hair removal is a process, not a one time treatment and this is why
Step 1: The area is shaved before your session so the laser can travel beneath the skin and properly target the hair follicle. Waxing removes the root, which means the laser has nothing to treat.
Step 2: During your session, the laser energy penetrates the skin and heats the hair follicle at the root. This heat damages the follicle without harming the surrounding skin.
Step 3: The damaged follicle gradually sheds the hair over the following weeks. With consistent treatments timed to your hair growth cycles, the follicle becomes weaker and stops producing hair.
This process is repeated until 75–100% of the hair is permanently reduced, depending on hair type, consistency, and treatment area.
